Comex Singapore is coming to Suntec City. The IT show will be held from 28 to 31 Aug 2008. However, I may be skipping this show because I have already spent too much money on too many gadgets e.g. mouse, fan, portable HDD, eee PC and etc. at the previous IT shows: IT Show 2008 in March and the PC Show 2008 in June.
New Notebook! Must Buy by Year-end
I really need to buy a new notebook for work. I am deciding between Dell XPS M1330, Sony Vaio laptops and the Apple MacBook. I hope to get the latest model powered by Intel Centrino 2.
Any suggestion?

It’s really hard to choose between those 3 brands. My preference go to Canon or Nikon. Currently, the hottest model at the price range you mentioned would be Canon 550D. Will Apple’s Macbook be cheaper at the suntec IT show? Or will they just give more stuff? I’m a student and the student price for macbook is 1428. However, they will only be giving ilife and the leopard OS. Student price are only available online too.
The next show is the IT Show Singapore from 11 to 14 March 2010. Can you wait that long to work without a mouse?
I need some help here ! i wanna buy a razer mouse. But i hear there is a promotion in those it show which i buy the mouse they would have include the mousepad.
Is that true ? because my mouse has stop functioning lately so i need to buy one badly ! Should i wait ? Or should i go and buy now since there is no such promotion ?

I have been using a Inspiron 630m for about 3 years now without any problem. So I think it is good and definitely good value for money.
However, I cannot speak for the new Dell laptops – the 1420 and 1525 as I have not used any one of these. The promotional prices only give you very basic configurations. You will probably need to pay more for the upgrades. So the final price may be increased by 30% to 50%.
Finally, I decided it’s time to retire my old Dell and I bought the new VAIO SR12G at the Comex Show. Please go read what I thought about my new notebook at “VAIO SR Notebook“
