Einstein Quotes – Did Albert Einstein Say These?

Albert Einstein

Some time ago, I received an email about a list of Albert Einstein’s quotes and I deleted it. Now that when I needed to quote Einstein, I forgot his words!

With some googling, I managed to find a long list of quotes compiled by Kevin Harris. However, the actual source of these Albert Einstein Quotes cannot be verified.

Here’s some the timeless classic quotes:

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.”

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

“The only real valuable thing is intuition.”

“Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.”

“Sometimes one pays most for the things one gets for nothing.”

“Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

“The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.”

“Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal.”

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.”

“If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut.”

“Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.”

“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”

His quotes on education is true even to this date. Nothing has been done to improve on how we learn in school and nothing really changes in our education systems since!

In our public schools, you are not given a chance to learn properly in classroom, you are there to memorize the answers to the questions that would be asked in the exams.
