This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday, 15 June 2008. So how are you celebrating Father’s Day? What gift are you buying for Dad?

Dad May Need a Watch This Year

Buying Dad a watch is a great Father’s Day gift idea. Even if your Dad already has a watch, he won’t mind having one more.

A Father’s Day watch doesn’t have to be an expensive Rolex or Omega. It will be nice if you could afford Swiss handcrafted timepiece. However, Dad knows it is the thought that counts.

How About The Classic SEIKO 5?

The SEIKO 5 model was first introduced in the 1970s. Why is this line of automatic mechanical SEIKO watches called the SEIKO 5?

SEIKO 5 has to have the follow 5 features:

1. Automatic
2. Water resistant
3. Shock resistant
4. Date
5. Day

The SEIKO 5 watches looked good 40 years ago and will still look good 40 years from now.
