Please enlighten me: what’s the advantage of 3G over just wifi? Can one use it like a phone? or merely just for data-plan access?
Hmmm, what about those with mobile plan(with a usb dongle), will the wifi version be enough?

The iPad will be available on Friday, 23 July 2010 at selected Apple Resellers, mainly EpicCentre outlets, some Best Denki’s Apple Shops and some Challenger Stores. Apple Singapore website listed 30 locations where you can buy the iPad in Singapore including iStudio@T3.

Yes, you can buy the Apple iPad at Changi Airport Terminal 3 departure/transit lounge where you do your duty free shopping.

iPad Singapore Prices

The price of iPad 16GB starts from SGD728. It is expected that the prices of higher models as follows:

iPad 32GB – $878
iPad 64GB – $1,028

iPad 3G 16GB – $928
iPad 3G 32GB – $1,078
iPad 3G 64GB – $1,228

I would comment that to purchase ipad plse give first priority to epic membercard as they are already own apple itouch, ipod or computer and ect.

No. Apple iPad is not available at Singapore’s Apple Store yet and there is no official prices in SGD yet. The S$1,600 you have mentioned is probably the street price of the parallel import units.
