Leaving for Kunming (Yunnan, China) in about 30 hours and just completed planning my Kunming-Lijiang-Dali-Kunming by rail (昆明铁路). This is a very short 5-day trip over the New Year holidays. Luckily for me, the Kunming-Lijiang express rail link will start operation on New Year Day 2010.
